 The Japan Tourist Visa is an official document required if you want to visit Japan for tourism purposes. This visa is excellent if you only plan tourist and recreational activities.

· Your latest Income Tax Returns (if you do not have an ITR, you may be able to submit a letter explaining the reason why).

· If you are visiting someone (friend or family), including proof of relationship, such as:

For relatives/family members: civil status documents, such as birth or marriage certificates

For friends: Pictures together, receipts, phone call details, and a letter explaining your relationship

· If you are employed: No Objection Certificate or a Letter of Employment from your employer.

· Civil status documents (as required): Birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.

How to Extend  a Japan Tourist Visa

The Japanese Immigration Services do not typically issue Extensions of Japan Tourist Visas unless under extraordinary circumstances.

However, suppose they meet the requirements of the Immigration Services of Japan. In that case, citizens of Ireland, the UK, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, and Liechtenstein may be able to extend their visa-exempt stay for up to six months.
