o For relatives/family members: civil status documents, such as birth or marriage certificates
o For friends: Pictures together, receipts, phone call details, and a letter explaining your relationship
· If you are employed: No Objection Certificate or a Letter of Employment from your employer.

How to Extend a Japan Tourist Visa
The Japanese Immigration Services do not typically issue Extensions of Japan Tourist Visas unless under extraordinary circumstances.
However, suppose they meet the requirements of the Immigration Services of Japan. In that case, citizens of Ireland, the UK, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, and Liechtenstein may be able to extend their visa-exempt stay for up to six months.
